Portrait Series of Florida Surfers

Sometimes when you buy new equipment it gets you excited to go out and shoot. Today that was my intention. Although, when I got to the beach I changed my plans and decided to keep things simple. Here are a few of the portraits I shot on the beach at the Landshark New Smyrna Pro.  These portraits are of professional surfers from around Florida. Including the winner of the contest Gorkin. Enjoy.

Surfing Magazine Tearsheet :|: December 2008

I wanted to share this tear sheet of Aaron Cormican I got in the newest issue of Surfing Magazine. I traveled 14 hours round trip twice & chased two hurricanes but I finally got one that made it. Thanks Aaron for making this air and thanks to Jimmy Wilson and Pete Taras for the support at Surfing magazine.

Hurricane Ike- Surf photos

I had been keeping track of Ike hoping that it would stay in the Atlantic and sweep up the coast of Florida bringing perfect surf here on the east coast. Ike wanted to follow a similar path as Gustav, which meant I was going back up to the panhandle. This has been the defining swell I've witnessed here in Florida this Hurricane season. I'm just glad I had the opportunity to be there. Here are a few photos from my trip.
